Terms and Conditions

Each entrant must agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. All Midlife Crisis Events are covered under England Athletics (EA) public Liability insurance, which provides coverage up to £50 million.

2. Midlife Crisis Events Ltd organises the Events and runs them under England Athletics (EA) rules.

3. Each entrant accepts that the organisers of the event will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise as a consequence of their participation in this event.

4. Participants must only compete in the event if they are in good health and will only compete at their own risk.

5. Participants agree to have personal details about them stored in a database for entry processing purposes.

6. We regret that all entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, but credit may be transferred towards a future event. This will only be possible 14 days before the event for all Midlife Crisis Events. There is a £5 administration charge to change/defer events or change the name on an entry.

7. If the event is cancelled due to the weather or local/national lockdown restrictions, an alternative date will be sought. The Event will then take place on that new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you may transfer your number to another Midlife Crisis event, transfer to the same Event the following year or do a name change on your entry with no administration charge. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN DUE TO A POSTPONEMENT UNDER
ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

8. Midlife Crisis Events retains the right to refuse entry to anyone.

9. Participants should be capable of completing the full distance of the event. We will not accept entries from individuals intending to walk the entire route. Some events are subject to cut-off times.

10. Any discounts launched do not include events that are on Early Bird prices, as they are already discounted.

11. There are minimum age requirements for each event. Running events over 10km have a minimum age requirement of 15 on the day of the event.

12. On race day, participants must follow all instructions given by event officials, stewards/marshals, police, fire, first-aiders or ambulance staff throughout the duration of the event.

13. Failure to follow any event rules may lead to disqualification, loss of prize money and removal from the official results.

14. Race numbers may only be worn by original entrants; anyone found running in somebody else’s number will be excluded from the results and banned from future events with us.

15. The courses are generally unsuitable for prams, pushchairs & wheelchairs. Competitors are also unable to run with dogs unless the venue allows them. We will then only accept entrants running with one dog on a harness and under complete control. Midlife Crisis events require permission to be granted before the event.

16. Headphones are not to be worn under any circumstances.

17. Entrants who are unhappy with any aspect before, during or after an event should contact us at info@midlifecrises.co.uk

18. Any photographs taken at an event are copyrighted by Wild Deer Events and may be used for advertising purposes without consent. Any participants in pictures that are used are not eligible for a free event.

19. Age Group Prizes are subject to the number of people in the event, and there must be more than three finishers in the Age Category for a prize to be claimed. Age Group Winners can receive a discount on an event by emailing us after the event has taken place. Age Group Winners cannot claim the discount if they were 1st, 2nd, or 3rd overall and received a separate prize.

20. Entrants must agree to always adhere to the Highway Code.
